Our Promises

Road to 100% Partner Toolkit

Granite School District, Promise South Salt Lake, Millcreek Promise, and Promise Partnership Utah backbone staff are working together as part of the collective Promise Partnership Utah initiative to ensure all students in South Salt Lake and Millcreek graduate from high school on a career path and have their basic needs met. This toolkit is meant to improve partner collaboration for community-wide change and contains information about the history of the work, the way we partner together, how we use data, and the goals we’re working towards.

Promise South Salt Lake

The Promise South Salt Lake initiative helps deliver on three promises to the community which represent the highest hopes for SSL residents: 1) Every child has the opportunity to attend and to graduate from college, 2) Every resident has a safe, clean home and neighborhood, and 3) Everyone has the opportunity to be healthy and to prosper.

Millcreek Promise

The Millcreek Promise Program mobilizes and supports the success of Millcreek youth and families through specific promises: 1) All Millcreek youth have the support to maximize academic success on their path to high school graduation and post-secondary education, 2) All Millcreek residents have access to health and safety services and resources, and 3) All Millcreek residents have the opportunities to provide a high quality of life for themselves and their families.

Promises We Make

In February 2024, key school and community leaders came together for the Road to 100% launch event, kicking off our commitment to ensure every student in South Salt Lake and West Millcreek graduates from high school and has their basic needs met. Attendees shared what individual promises they are making to students and families to achieve these goals.
