About Us | Promise Partnership Utah

About Us

Mission

To create long-term change by harnessing the power of nonprofits, government, corporations, and thousands of individuals to work together and solve the most difficult problems we face as a community.

Vision

We envision an inclusive community where all people achieve their human potential through education, financial stability, and healthy lives.

ABOUT US

Promise Partnership Utah supports youth in their educational journey from cradle to career to ensure they can explore, dream, and take steps to realize their potential. Our approach involves being rooted in data and deeply collaborating with public and private sector partners to transform the education environment, so it produces more equitable outcomes and disparity gaps are eliminated. We operate on the deeply held belief that by working collectively we can have a greater impact for our youth than we could have alone.

Promise Partnership Utah, United Way of Salt Lake, and 211 Utah (Salt Lake City team) are part of the Utah’s Promise organization. Together, we are committed to 100% of kids and families thriving.

Work With Us

We are here to change the world. Our team of passionate, talented individuals brings exceptional skills to solve complex social problems. With work-life balance and great benefits, our team is focused on serving our community and changing lives.

Don’t meet every single requirement in a job description? Studies have shown that women and people of color are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. We are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about A role but your experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.

The Promise Partnership Regional Council

As leaders of some of Utah’s most influential systems, the members of the Promise Partnership Regional Council (PPRC) are committed to collective impact. They act as the Promise Partnership's governing board, bringing in their expertise to guide how we create systems change in our community. Together, we are pursuing lasting social change on some of our community’s toughest challenges: poverty, poor health, and inequitable educational achievement.

Volunteers & the Promise Partnership

Volunteers can create meaningful change for kids and families in their communities. United Way of Salt Lake & the Promise Partnership mobilize volunteers in areas that align with our core outcome areas and ensure that children receive the support they need to succeed in school. Our opportunities range from one-time events to ongoing opportunities as classroom support, mentors and tutors, in-kind donors, and committee members.
