Regional Networks

Networks are groups facilitated by the Promise Partnership that work strategically to address the problems kids and families in our community face

Collective Impact

Our goal is to transform the educational environment, and we know that an unorganized set of programs, initiatives, collaboratives, and focus areas won't get us there. To transform whole communities, we must think beyond individual programs or services and see ourselves as a united group sharing accountability for community-wide results. This is what it means to engage in rigorous collective impact.

How our Networks Work

Regional networks implement strategies that change our systems so they produce better outcomes for lots of kids at once. Members of regional networks come from many different sectors, each bringing their unique perspective and expertise. Each regional network focuses on one key outcome like Kindergarten Readiness or Middle School Math, and they track data to understand if their strategies are working. There are nine regional networks in the Promise Partnership.

Bringing Together A Variety of Partners

Networks are comprised of partners from local businesses, non-profits, community organizations, education entities, and governments. We use this diverse expertise to find creative solutions to the problems are communities face.

Our Partners

Creating Uninterrupted Opportunities

The Promise Partnership takes a "cradle-to-career" approach to improve educational outcomes for youth. The reason for this is simple: for children to succeed, they need a continuum of uninterrupted opportunities and supports so each stage is leveraged by those that follow and children benefit from a concrete path to success.

Aligned Goals

Inspired by the African proverb, "If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together," we believe that more can get done if we are all working towards the same goals.

Implementing Continuous Improvement & Results Based Accountability

They say the "proof is in the pudding," which is why we use data to ensure that the programs and strategies we implement are moving the needle. We then work to fine-tune our interventions to ensure they're making a difference for Utah kids.
